Luella S/S 2010 Couture

Luella’s S/S 2010 collection is a bit of a departure from the line’s usually monochromatic mad-hatter feminine brashness to simpler, more lady-like silhouettes hearkening back to the 1950s.
Models in topknots and oversized bows marched down the runway in delicate pastel dresses and lipstick red coats, but something looked a bit strange about them…
What’s this? Hips! Obvious, padded out hips were the main feature of many of Luella’s S/S Ready to Wear collection, and I’m personally excited for two reasons — padding the shoulders was getting a bit overplayed, and it’s about time someone decided to amp up the curves a bit on the runway!
Only question is: Will these hip-swinging coats and dresses look good on anyone below 5’9” and above 120 pounds?
